Airparks Newcastle
Airparks Newcastle is an off-site park and ride car park, but close to the airport terminal. Bus transfers take between 5 and 10 minutes. The car park was previously known as Q-Park Flyaway.
Vans and larger vehicles are accepted at a higher fee.
Car park prices are very competive, starting from £4.50 per day.
Security at Airparks Newcastle
The car park has a Park Mark Accreditation, and is secure with CCTV,fencing and patrols.
Transfers to Newcastle Airport
Bus transfers to the airport terminal run every 10 minutes 24 hours a day, with a journey time of between 5 and 10 minutes.
Arrival and Departure Information
- Directions: From the A1 North or South - follow the signs for the A696 sign-posted Jedburgh and the Airport. Follow the A696 dual carriageway up to the second exit to Throckley and Woolsington. At the top of the slip road turn right over the dual carriageway and straight across you will see Airparks Newcastle on the right.
From the A696 southbound - proceed as far as Newcastle Airport and continue onto the dual carriageway ahead of you. Take the first exit off to the left marked Throckley and Woolsington. At the top of the slip road and turn left and you will find Airparks Newcastle on the right.
When travelling in either direction you will see signs for airport parking on the A696.
- Arrival Procedure: Drive to the Reception area and hand in your Keys and Park and Go voucher/reference number.
- Return Procedure: There is a courtesy phone in the terminal building near to the Pick up and Drop off point, please call the car park on the number provided at the time of booking and a courtesy vehicle will be sent to collect you.
